Pilanesberg National Park
Note. Add R 500 per person is you choose to take an open vehicle game drive.
The Pilanesberg is the fourth biggest national park in South Africa - just about two hours’ drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria.
The 55 000 square km park is home to a huge variety of southern African animal life which offers game-viewing thrills aplenty with a good chance of seeing all of the BIG FIVE, along with hippo, giraffe, cheetah, zebra, impala and many others. There are over 300 species of birds in this park.
Ever wondered how South Africans in the rural areas or villages live? Take this tour and you will have an experience of a lifetime (especially international tourists). Here you will see and learn how five of South Africa’s tribes; AmaZulu, BaPedi, BaSotho, AmaXhosa and AmaNdebele, live with their domestic animals like cattle, goats, sheep, donkeys, horses, chicken, pigs, dogs and cats.
Traditional dances of different tribes (you will be asked to join in the dance) and the taste of the traditional meals will force you to visit again.
